Gary Wilmarth
President of Wilmarth & Associates - Trade Advisory Services, LLC which provides a full spectrum of international trade and compliance consultant services, Mr. Wilmarth has extensive experience in U.S. State Department and Commerce Department and Customs and Border Protection laws and regulations, and other U.S. and foreign governmental international trade compliance requirements.
He has been recently involved on behalf of clients in matters related to changes in U.S. export laws and regulations requiring added end-application responsibilities over exported hardware and licensing jurisdiction issues involving both technology and non-technology based products.
Mr. Wilmarth has been active in many international trade organizations, including the American Association of Exporters and Importers, the Computer and Business Equipment Manufacturers’ Association, the American Electronics Association and the Aerospace Industries Association, and has been appointed to the District Export Council of the U.S. Department of Commerce and was a member of the board of directors of the World Affairs Council. He has published many articles on trade policies and lectures extensively on trade issues to companies and government and trade organizations in the United States and abroad.
Prior to forming Wilmarth & Associates, Mr. Wilmarth served in senior government compliance positions in the metal products, computer and aerospace industries and directed the international trade consulting division of several major U.S. law firms.
